Suspicious Package Located at Google, Investigation On-Going
On Tuesday, June 18, at about 1:50 p.m., Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety Fire and Hazmat responded to Google on the 1200 block of Crossman for a report of a suspicious package that was sent through the mail. As a precaution, an evacuation was conducted and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad was called to assist in the investigation. Further testing conducted by the Bomb Squad has shown NEGATIVE for explosives. There is currently no threat to the community. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
