Press Release: Felon Arrested in Possession of a Stolen Firearm

SUSPECT #1: Leonard Frazier, 46-year-old Oakland resident
SUSPECT VEHICLE: 2001 Black Honda Civic
On June 11, 2019, at about 8:00 P.M., a Milpitas Police officer was investigating a possible auto burglary in the parking lot of the Marshalls at the Great Mall of the Bay Area. The officer saw Frazier sitting inside a black Honda Civic. The officer discovered Frazier was on probation in Alameda County for auto theft and had two outstanding warrants for his arrest for drug related charges. Frazier was placed under arrest.
Officers searched the Honda and found a loaded High Point C9 semi-automatic handgun hidden in a backpack and a methamphetamine glass pipe. The handgun had been report stolen to the Vallejo Police Department.
Frazier was booked into the Santa Clara Main Jail for possession of a stolen firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, having a loaded firearm in a vehicle, concealing a firearm in a vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two outstanding warrants.
