The Sterling Highway is closed from milepost 63 to milepost 70 due to heavy smoke from a wildfire. Traffic is being routed through Skilak Lake Loop Road. AST encourages motorists to be patient and drive cautiously while traversing the Sterling Highway and the detour route.
