SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Spring Hill Acres
Overnight the police department received reports from three homeowners in Spring Hill Acres of a female ringing the doorbell at their homes. The incidents occurred between 1:15 AM - 3:15 AM on Aspen Lane and Ash Lane.
One homeowner had a conversation with the female who claimed she was lost, had a fight with her boyfriend, and was trying to get to the Speedway Mini-Mart. When the homeowner called 911 the female told him not to do that and fled on foot. On the first call an officer arrived within three minutes and could not locate the female; on the second call the officer arrived in six minutes but was unable to locate her. The third incident was reported later in the morning.
Another homeowner provided a video of the female on his porch and the PD is working on identifying her. She is white, appears to be late 20's to early 30's in age, slender build, long brown hair, wearing light color pants & top, and slippers.
We do not know why the female went to the residences during the night or if the story she told about being lost is legitimate.
Until we have more information regarding this female, residents are encouraged to immediately call 911 if the doorbell rings during the night.
