While walking home from the park, two young boys were approached by a stranger and offered gum. 
On June 21, 2019, the Sleepy Eye Police Department received a report of two young boys who were approached by a stranger and offered gum on their way home. The boys avoided the stranger and proceeded home. The boys described the man as mostly bald with short brown facial hair. He wore glasses and drove a grey colored four door truck with a matching topper. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a long sleeve stripped shirt. The shirt was black and green in color. He also wore black pants and black shoes.
The Sleepy Eye Police Department would like all parents to speak with their children about stranger danger and what to do in similar situations.
