* Until 145 AM EDT.

* At 1248 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles east of Hiawassee, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include... Toccoa, Seneca, Walhalla, Clayton, Clarkesville, Carnesville, Cornelia, Baldwin, Westminster and Lavonia.

* AFFECTED AREAS: RABUN, GA ... PICKENS, SC ... STEPHENS, GA ... FRANKLIN, GA ... OCONEE, SC ... HABERSHAM, GA
