INCIDENT: 2019-16172 Theft by Fugitive (Arrest)
DATE & TIME OCCURRED: 6/22/2019 at 0632 Hours
LOCATION OCCURRED: Princeton Junction Train Station (PJTS)--Vaughn Drive side
ARRESTED: 1) Henry L. Stevenson B/M 50 years old
Resident of Piscataway, NJ 08854

DETAILS: At 0632 Hours on Saturday, June 22, 2019, Units were advised of a bike theft in progress at PJTS. The black male suspect was observed cutting the lock that secured bicycles to a bike rack. Sgt. Lai located the suspect, identified as Henry L. Stevenson. Further investigation by Ptl. S. Van Ness revealed that Stevenson had used a snipping tool, without permission, to cut the cable lock securing a Stowabike. Stevenson was taken into custody for the Theft of the Stowabike (approx.. $150.00 value). Stevenson was determined to be a NCIC “Hit” from Union County, NJ. Stevenson was subsequently processed and turned over to the custody of the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
**NOTE: The other bike in Stevenson’s possession was a Silver MGX Redondo 21 Speed. The MGX remains with WWPD.
