Media Release Residential Burglary Arrest VOORHEES TWP. NJ 6/25/19, the Voorhees Police Department announces the arrest of Kevin P. Dunleavy (54), last known address from the unit block of Evergreen Place, Loch Arbour, NJ. On June 24th, at approximately 10:55 am, patrol units were dispatched for a burglary in progress on the unit block of Forrest Hills Drive. The homeowner observed an unknown male exiting their garage, the male subsequently fled the scene. A description was obtained and given to all responding units which canvassed the area. A K9 team was deployed and conducted a track, but due to the terrain, the track was terminated for the safety of the Officers and K9. The Voorhees Criminal Investigations Bureau was able to develop a possible suspect with the assistance of the Waterford Police Department. At approximately 3:56 pm, a 2nd call came into police dispatch of a found burglary on the unit block of Tenby Chase Drive. Patrol Units located the suspect in the vicinity of Simsbury / Longwood. He was identified as Kevin P. Dunleavy and found to be a fugitive from justice. At the time of his arrest, Mr. Dunleavy had stolen items from the residential burglaries in his possession. He was charged with two (2) counts of burglary, theft, & criminal mischief and subsequently remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility. This matter is pending in Superior Court, Camden, New Jersey.
