Fireworks are illegal in the Truckee Area. This includes sparklers, firecrackers, picalo petes, black cats, roman candles, zippity do-dahs, lady fingers, whistlin' dixies, spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker don'ts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, and whistlin' kitty chasers!
You can be personally liable for any fires started from illegal fireworks.
Report any fireworks, fires or illegal activity to 911
To surrender or dispose of fireworks, please deliver directly to any on-duty firefighter at Truckee Fire St. 92 (11473 Donner Pass Rd.)
