* At 910 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over St. John, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 905 PM, estimated gusts to 65 mph were reported in Dyer Indiana. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Merrillville, Schererville, Hobart, Crown Point, St. John, Cedar Lake, Steger, Lowell, Lakes Of The Four Seasons, Crete, Winfield, Beecher and Lake Dalecarlia. Including the following interstate... Indiana I-65 between mile markers 240 and 252. This includes... Lake County Fairgrounds.
