Scam Calls Acting Like They are From Hoisington Electric Utility 
The City has been made aware of individuals calling local businesses indicating that they are from the local electric utility and threatening to shut people off unless they make an immediate payment via telephone. These individuals are not employees of the City. Please contact the City Office if someone indicates they are from your electric utility. The local utility is operated by the City of Hoisington and we can be reached at 620-653-4125.
