Portable back-up generators produce the poison gas carbon monoxide. Please keep running generators away from open windows and doors of your house. DPW and PSEG are working as quickly as possible to safely clear downed wires and township trees blocking roadways. Non-emergent township trees will be handled on Monday. Please keep children away from downed trees and wires even if you suspect they are cable/phone lines. Thank you for your cooperation.
