Double fatality in southern Vigo County crash. 
On July 3rd at approximately 2:50am, deputies with the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single car motor vehicle accident on French Drive. Based on the accident investigation, the vehicle appeared to be heading east bound, when it went off the road way, striking a tree. Two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. One occupant was transported to regional Hospital. Speed is considered to be a factor. Names involved in the accident are not being released at this time.
