Full Notification

On July 5th at approximately 1900 hrs, the Bingham County Sheriffs Office pursued suspects involved in an attempted car jacking in Bonneville County into Bannock County. The vehicle pursuit ended at the top of Rapid Creek Road in Bannock County and the 3 suspects fled on foot. One of the suspects was apprehended and two others were able flee East into the foothills.

Members of the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, Southeastern Idaho STAR Team, Bingham County Sheriffs Office, the U.S. Forest Service and the Idaho State Police we’re involved in the search. An active search was conducted until after dark. The two suspects remain at large.

Anyone in the Inkom, Rapid Creek and Buckskin area who see’s anyone acting suspiciously should notify the Bannock County Sheriffs Office immediately. Don’t attempt to make contact with the possible suspects.
