* Flood Warning for... Northeastern Wayne County in southeastern Michigan... Southeastern Oakland County in southeastern Michigan... Southwestern Macomb County in southeastern Michigan...
* Until 215 AM EDT.
* Rainfall from earlier showers and thunderstorms dropped anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of rain across area. Some locally higher totals may have occurred. This region also received between 1 and 2 inches of rain on Friday. While the rain has ended and no additional rain is expected tonight, it will take several hours for the flood waters to recede.
* Some locations that have seen flooding include... Warren, Southfield, St. Clair Shores, Royal Oak, Detroit Zoo, Roseville, Eastpointe, Madison Heights, Oak Park, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Grosse Pointe Woods, Berkley, Fraser, Harper Woods, Clawson, Grosse Pointe Farms, Centerline and far northeast Detroit.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MACOMB, MI ... OAKLAND, MI ... WAYNE, MI
Instructions:
Runoff from the earlier heavy rainfall has caused flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
