UPDATE: Power has been restored.  We will continue to monitor the situation and the cooling center will be reopened if needed.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
We have been made aware of a power outage in the southwest part of our Village (including portions of Del Webb). ComEd is aware of the outage and working to restore power. Due to the high temperatures, the Huntley Municipal Complex is now available as a cooling center for the duration of the outage. If you or anyone you know is without power, please direct them to the Municipal Complex at 10987 Main Street for relief from the heat. If access to the cooling center is needed after the lobby is closed, please use the red phone in the Police Department vestibule to gain access. Please check on your neighbors and loved ones and stay safe.
