With the start of the 2019 Saratoga Race Course meet in combination  with several concerts being held over the next several days at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC)  -  Rt 9 in Saratoga Springs (from I-87 Exit 13N to the Spa State Park’s The Avenue of Pines) is expected to experience high traffic volume and delays during the hours of  4pm to 8pm on each of the following dates: Thursday July 11, Friday July 12, and Saturday July 13.
 
Those attending the SPAC concerts are encouraged to arrive well in advance of their perspective show times and seek alternate routes besides the use of Rt 9. One possible alternate route if traveling via I-87 is to use Exit 12 and proceed to Rt 50 north into Saratoga Springs.
