Call of suspicious person leads deputies to meth, heroin, pills and paraphernalia

                Deputy Steven McPeters of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Donnie Allen Robinson, 35, address listed as Jakes Branch Road in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
                At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, McPeters was called to Dollar General, on U.S. 70 West, in reference to a suspicious man looking in vehicles in the parking lot.
                Deputies found Robinson at the scene, and a subsequent search of his person and a GMC SUV he was driving turned up 15 grams of methamphetamine, .50 gram of heroin, 21 various pills and drug paraphernalia.
