Phone scammers are calling Borough residents with the caller ID being spoofed as the Fairview Police phone number of 201-943-2100. Please know that the Fairview Police will never solicit money or personal information via telephone. If you receive this type of call and suspect it to be fraudulent, you should hang up, call the police directly, and confirm if it was an actual Officer or not.
