Townwide Power Outage, Sea Girt, NJ 
The Sea Girt Police Department would like to give a quick update on the ongoing power outage. JCPL is aware of the situation and will be working to restore power as soon as possible. As JCPL is in storm mode, we cannot give an accurate time when power will be restored. Extra police patrols are in town. If anyone has medical equipment requiring power or special medical needs, please call 7324497300 and we will assist you. Sea Girt Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, and Department of Public Works are all working together during this power outage. Power is out in several towns throughout Monmouth County. Reports advise a transformer issue in western Monmouth County.
