Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives and the victim’s family are seeking the public’s assistance for information related to the 2015 murder of 22 years-old Kejon “Wayne” Atkins.
 
On Thursday, July 23, 2015, the victim was standing on the sidewalk at the 1800 block of East 126th Street, when several shots were fired from a sedan, striking him in the head. The shooting occurred around 11:26 AM.
 
Mr. Atkins succumbed to his injuries on Monday July 27, 2015
 
There are two suspect vehicles, an older model, gold, 4 door sedan and a maroon Pontiac Vibe, possibly two toned with gray lower half, fled southbound onto Wilmington Avenue and then westbound onto El Segundo Boulevard and out of view.
 
LASD Homicide Detectives and Mr. Atkins family are asking for the public’s assistance for information regarding Mr. Atkin’s death.
 
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has approved a $10,000 reward for any information leading to a conviction of those person(s) responsible for this senseless murder.
