DA’s Office, Local Agencies Open Family Assistance Center to Help Gilroy Shooting Victims
The Santa Clara County DA’s Office’s Victim Services Unit, the American Red Cross and the County’s Behavioral Health Services will open a Family Assistance Center starting at 5:00 p.m. today at Rucker Elementary School in Gilroy to assist those people affected by the shootings at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.
Services Provided:
• Grief counseling and emotional support
• Assistance filing claims for state funds for payment of medical bills, counseling bills, and other assistance for victims and their families
• Referrals to agencies and providers for medical, counseling, and other services
Free childcare will be provided on site.

• Monday 7/29/19: 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Tuesday 7/30/19: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Wednesday 7/31/19: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Thursday 8/1/19: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Friday 8/2/19: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
