* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southeastern Hunterdon County in northwestern New Jersey... Northwestern Mercer County in central New Jersey... Southwestern Somerset County in northern New Jersey... Southeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Central Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Southeastern Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Central Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Delaware County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 415 PM EDT.

* At 323 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Sand Brook to Plymouth Meeting to Marshallton, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include... Philadelphia, West Chester, Ewing, Norristown, West Norriton, East Norriton, Westtown, Doylestown, Byram, Downingtown, Conshohocken, Hatboro, Ambler, Flemington, Jenkintown, Narberth, Chalfont, East Lansdowne, Pennington and Rockledge.

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly NJ. In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
