Sheriff's Detective Jason Vasquez, along with other north county law enforcement and medical professionals were recognized by North County Rape Crisis & Child Protection Center for their exemplary work in investigating sexual assaults. Detective Vasquez was specifically recognized for his focus on the well-being of sexual assault survivors. Executive Director Ann McCarty presented Detective Vasquez with a plaque commemorating his work on behalf of sexual assault survivors.
