Suspicious person call leads to arrest of Georgia man on multiple charges. 
On August 2nd, 2019 at 5:30 a.m. Sgt. John Fischer and Deputy Bryce Jutzi were dispatched to Somerville in reference to a suspicious person. At 5:47 a.m. a man was located in the area and when officer`s made contact it was very apparent that he was under the influence of alcohol. While conducting the investigation, the subject, who was identified as Brew Chase of Georgia became very agitated and started resisting. After a short struggle Mr. Chase was placed under arrest and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Mr. Chase was charged with Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest and Intimidation on a Police Officer. Arresting officer was Sgt. John Fischer, who was assisted by Deputy Bryce Jutzi and Lt. Grant Fulkerson with the Oakland City Police Department.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
