MEDIA RELEASE: Madison Woman Dead After Two Vehicle Crash

On August 3, 2019 at 8:17 PM, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Evansville Police Department, Evansville Fire Department, Footville Fire Department, Janesville Fire Department, Orfordville Fire Department, and Mercy MD-1 responded to a traffic crash on N Hwy 213 at W Hwy 59, in Magnolia Township.
An investigation shows a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Daniel B. Good (41, from Edgerton, WI), was traveling eastbound on W Hwy 59 and failed to stop at the stop sign. The Chevrolet Silverado struck a Dodge Journey that was northbound on N Hwy 213 and driven by a 59 year old female from Madison, WI. A 53 year old female was also a passenger in the Dodge Journey. The 59 year old female driver of the Dodge Journey was pronounced deceased on scene, and the 53 year old female passenger suffered multiple injuries.
Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Daniel B. Good for Homicide by Intoxicated Use of Motor Vehicle, Causing Injury by Intoxicated Use of Motor Vehicle, Operating While Intoxicated - 4th Offense, and Failure to Stop for Stop Sign.
Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
