The Denville Police Department will be holding our second annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 6th beginning at 6pm in the Riverview School parking lot (33 St. Mary's Place).

National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet many of our officers and get an opportunity to see the various equipment we have available in our patrol vehicles. There will be a dunk tank offering the opportunity to "Dunk-A-Cop". The Denville Volunteer Fire Department, Denville Animal Control, Northern NJ Safe Kids, Office of Emergency Management and others will also be on site as well.

Beginning at dusk, we will have a special outdoor screening of A Dog's Way Home on a large, outdoor movie screen! Food will be served during the event by Denville PBA 142.
