* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northeastern Marathon County in central Wisconsin... Menominee County in northeastern Wisconsin... Southwestern Langlade County in north central Wisconsin... Western Shawano County in northeastern Wisconsin...

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 534 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Antigo to Weston, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Wausau, Antigo, Weston, Rib Mountain, Wittenberg, Big Smokey Falls, Neopit, Rothschild, Schofield and Ringle.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MENOMINEE, WI ... MARATHON, WI ... SHAWANO, WI ... LANGLADE, WI

Instructions:

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. Damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
