The National Weather Service has issued a HEAT ADVISORY for our area beginning at 1100am today and extending through 8pm Thursday. Temperatures are expected to range between 95-107.
Please take the following precautions:
- Limit outdoor strenuous activity
- Do not leave kids and pets in a vehicle.
- Stay in air conditioned areas.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Take extra care for pets, crops, and livestock.
- Watch for pets when walking on hot pavement.
- Beware of rip currents at the coast.
