Pearl Street Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program

Beginning this week Pearl Street in McHenry between Richmond Road and Riverside Drive will undergo lighting and streetscape improvements.  Work will be completed by Sumit Construction Co. Inc. of Chicago, IL.  Improvements will include:  pedestrian lighting, decorative stamped concrete sidewalks, decorative crosswalks, landscaping and other necessary work.  The project is scheduled to be completed this fall. For more information, please visit the project’s webpage at http://cityofmchenry.org/pearlstreetitep

Curran Road Highway Safety Improvement Program

Beginning this week Curran Road in McHenry between Ojibwa Lane and Illinois Route 120 will undergo resurfacing along with a number of safety related improvements.  Work will be completed by Curran Contracting Company of Crystal Lake, IL.  Improvements will include super-elevated pavement re-profiling, paved shoulders with rumble strips, slope grading for recoverable slopes, pavement markings and installation of additional signage. 2019 City of McHenry Road Resurfacing Program

The 2019 City of McHenry Road Resurfacing Program is scheduled to begin this week.  Project locations will include Chickaloon Drive, Katmai Trail, Denail Trail, Illiamna Trail, and Curran Road between Dartmoor Drive and Ojibwa Lane. Work will be completed by Curran Contracting Company of Crystal Lake, IL.  Improvements will include: hot-mix asphalt milling and resurfacing, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, pavement markings, as well as other necessary and incidental work.  All work is scheduled to be completed this fall.
