Press Release: Suspects Arrested in Robbery Investigation

VICTIM: Male, 22 years old, San Jose resident
SUSPECT #1: Allie Rae Holcomb, 28 years old, San Jose resident
SUSPECT #2: Jorel Lee Moreno, 33 years old, Transient
SUSPECT #3: Jacobrey Rorie, 20 years old, Transient
SUSPECT VEHICLE: 1997 purple Honda Accord
On June 24, 2019 at 7:48 P.M., officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the Executive Inn, located at 95 Dempsey Road, and contacted a victim of a robbery. Victim said he was robbed by Allie Holcomb and two unknown male suspects, which were later identified as Jorel Moreno and Jacobrey Rorie. The victim said the suspects physically assaulted him and took his wallet, cellular telephone, and jewelry. Holcomb, Moreno, and Rorie fled from the hotel prior to the officers arriving. The victim was treated for his injuries at a local hospital and released.
On June 25, 2019 at 1:00 A.M., detectives responded and took over the investigation in an attempt to locate the suspects. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the hotel room and Holcomb’s vehicle, and in the vehicle they located two empty Glock pistol magazines. As a result of their investigation, detectives obtained $75,000 Ramey arrest warrants for Holcomb, Moreno, and Rorie for robbery and battery with serious injury. Holcomb was arrested as she returned to the hotel and was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for the warrant.
Detectives tirelessly continued their investigation for several weeks by following up on several leads in an attempt to locate Moreno and Rorie. With the assistance of the San Jose Police Department, Moreno was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail. Detectives from the Special Investigations Unit located Rorie in the City of San Jose and took him into custody without incident. Rorie was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for the warrant.
