* At 538 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Coffeetown, or near Allentown, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
* Locations impacted include... Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Forks, Emmaus, Northampton, Wilson, Hellertown, Nazareth, Wind Gap, Bath, Belfast, West Easton, Tatamy, Riegelsville, Steuben, Glendon, Coffeetown, Ancient Oaks and Lehigh University. This includes Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 51 and 76.
