The NWS has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 8pm.
A watch means severe weather is possible in and near the watch area. Know where to go for safety, before severe weather threatens. A warning doesn't have to be issued for severe weather to occur.
Monitor NOAA weather radio or local media for more information and additional watches or warnings.
