Los Altos, CA – Los Altos Police Department obtained arrest warrants for suspect Santiago Chavez and for suspect Gloria Mendoza for Burglary (felony).

On January 25, 2019, at approximately 12:20 p.m., the Los Altos Police Department responded to a residential burglary that had just occurred in the 2000 block of Kent Drive (Highlands area) in Los Altos.  The victim reported that their residence had been burglarized while the occupants were away.

Through the course of an investigation, suspect Santiago Chavez and suspect Gloria Mendoza were identified as the individuals who were believed to be responsible for the residential burglary.  The Los Altos Police Department Investigative Services Division obtained arrest warrants for suspect Santiago Chavez and for suspect Gloria Mendoza for residential burglary.

On June 27, 2019, suspect Santiago Chavez was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for the above listed violation.

On August 10, 2019, suspect Gloria Mendoza was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for the above listed violation.
