Intergovernmental Agreement for Inspection Services with the Village of Prairie Grove
Earlier this year Director Polerecky met with the Village of Prairie Grove to terminate an intergovernmental agreement for building inspections services. The village of Prairie Grove ran into some problems finding an inspection service to take over their services and the City of McHenry continued to provide these services while they searched for a replacement. Recently the Village of Prairie Grove reached out and asked if the City would reevaluate our decision to cancel the intergovernmental agreement. Director Polerecky has met with CED staff and has made the decision to continue supplying services to Prairie Grove under a new agreement, this new agreement will require councils approval and will be brought before the council in the near future.
