Police investigating social media posting 
Police have been investigating calls from concerned parents over a social media posting that circulated Friday night. The posting warned other students not to go to school next week. The social media information was based on rumors heard from other students of a threat of school violence.
The school that was mentioned was California City High School.
Police have been working with school officials around the clock and will update as information becomes more available.
