Investigators Seek Public's Help Identifying Man Involved in Cellphone Store Theft

Harris County, TX — Investigators are seeking the public’s help with identifying a man believed to be responsible for multiple thefts and robberies in Harris County.

The last known theft committed by the man occurred on July 9, 2019 at the MetroPCS/T-Mobile store located in the 12000 block of Veterans Memorial Drive. The link below includes photos from this incident.

The man used a cutting tool to cut security cords protecting the cellphones. This technique was used in a similar robbery that occurred at another MetroPCS store in east Harris County in May. It appears the man is also wearing the same hat in both robberies. The link below includes footage from both incidents.

The man is described as a black male with a slim build, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet in height, and weighing 160 to 170 pounds. The man has black hair, brown eyes, and a full beard. It is believed this man is responsible for multiple thefts and robberies in Houston and Harris County.

Anyone with information is urged to call the HCSO Violent Crime Unit at 713-274-9100.

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect(s) in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org or through the Crime Stoppers mobile app. All tipsters remain anonymous.
