Deputies locate suspect at scene of break-in 
Deputy Jared Cody of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Roy Leonard Calhoun, 42, address listed as Reid Street in Marion, with breaking and entering and possession of methamphetamine.
At approximately 4:45 a.m. on Monday, July 29, Cody and Lt. Jason Cook responded to a breaking and entering at a Goforth Road residence owned by Samuel Elliott, of Georgia. They found Calhoun at the scene and stolen property loaded onto a trailer.
A search of Calhoun’s person revealed .10 gram of methamphetamine.
