On 08/28/2019, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s West County Narcotic Street Team concluded a month long investigation into the narcotic trafficking activities of Jesse Joaquin, who was suspected of selling methamphetamine and heroin to residents of Ventura County. At approximately 4:45 PM, Narcotic Detectives detained Joaquin in the 500 block of Mills Road in the city of Ventura, and executed a search warrant on his person and vehicle. During the search, approximately 65 grams of methamphetamine was located along with a scale, and paraphernalia associated to the sale of methamphetamine. Joaquin was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of sales. His bail was set at $250,000 and his next scheduled court appearance is set for 8/30/19 at 1:30 pm in Court Room 13. The West County Street Team is comprised of Narcotic Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Oxnard Police Department, and the Port Hueneme Police Department. |
