On Monday, September 2, 2019, deputies with the Kern County Sheriff's Office Wasco Substation served a narcotics search warrant in the 800 block of D. Street, in the city of Wasco. The service of the search warrant was the culmination of a two-week narcotics investigation.
During a search of the premises, deputies located approximately 27 grams of suspected methamphetamine, packaging for narcotics sales, and $24,500 in counterfeit 100 dollar bills.
48-year-old Javier Medina, and 26-year-old Victoria Sidhu were arrested for Possession of Narcotics for Sales, Keeping a Residence for the Purpose of Narcotics Sales, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Counterfeit Currency. Both Medina and Sidhu were booked into Central Receiving Facility.
