Alert
Jekyll Island is currently under a Tropical Storm Warning, making roadways unsafe for travel.
Anticipated effects from Hurricane Dorian may be felt as early as 11 a.m. this morning, continuing through 3 p.m. this afternoon. High tide is at 1:10 p.m. and roadways, including the Jekyll Island causeway, could be flooded two hours on either side of that time.
Strong winds and heavy rains will make it difficult and unsafe to drive. Please stay off of the roads and shelter in place at this time.
