On this date, patrol deputies from the Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff’s station responded to the Chevron gas station on Colima Road in the city of Rowland Heights.  A concerned person saw a vehicle and its occupants acting suspiciously and believed the Chevron station was being targeted for a robbery.  Patrol deputies detained five male adults and after investigation all 5 suspects were arrested.  During a search of the vehicle, deputies found numerous coins and tools that are commonly used to commit burglary. 
 
Further investigation revealed the vehicle was used during a commercial burglary in City of Los Angeles.  Several articles of clothing found in the vehicle matched clothing that was worn by the suspects depicted in the video from the LAPD burglary case.
