UPDATE: Suspect in the breaking and entering incident at Child Care Quest has been arrested. 
On September 10, 2019, Eva Jane Horton of Pennsylvania Ave, Spindale, NC was arrested and charged with breaking & entering and larceny. Horton was issued a $10,000 secured bond and placed in custody of the Rutherford County jail. Forest City Police Department would like to thank all of those who called, messaged and assisted in the case. Your assistance allowed us to quickly resolve the case and retire the stolen items.

This morning officers responded to Child Care Quest, located at 1288 W. Main St. in Forest City, in reference to a breaking and entering that occurred around 5:00 am. The suspect is a white female with dark hair and glasses. She is shown in the photos below.
