Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training to be offered at Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort.
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program provides training to Beaufort County residents to increase self-sufficiency in a disaster. Participants learn skills that will enable them to provide emergency assistance to their families and neighbors.
CERT classes are free of charge and are held at the Technical College of the Lowcountry (TCL) (Bldg 6, Room 108), 921 Ribaut, Road, Beaufort, SC 29901.
The course is taught in four class sessions: Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., culminating with a Saturday exercise from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
