The Upper Macungie Township Police Department is currently investigating a residential armed robbery incident that occurred on Sunday, September 15th, shortly after midnight, in the 8900 block of Breinigsville Rd.
During the incident, three suspects forced a door to the residence open and encountered residents inside. The suspects then stole various items from the residence and fled. The occupants of the home were not injured during the incident.
This incident is currently under investigation by the UMTPD Crime Division. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Darren Simmers at 484-661-5911.
