Warrants have been issued for three subjects suspected to be involved in a September 8 robbery incident on Hamilton Street.
On September 10, 2019, Keith Hamilton, age 38, of Masonic Drive, Shelby and Makella Mayse, age 35, of the same address reported to being robbed on Hamilton Street in Forest City, NC. Hamilton and Mayse reported the incident was to have taken place late in the evening of September 8, 2019 and to them being robbed by 4 individuals after they were assaulted by the group. As a result of the investigation into the incident, common law robbery warrants were issued for: Andrew Robert Holloway, age 28, of Hill Street, Forest City, NC; Akeil Kelis Omar Franklin, age 18, of Hill Street, Forest City, NC; and Moesha Desha Carson, age 23, of Helens Lane, Rutherfordton, NC. Forest City Police Department will also be seeking a juvenile petition for a fourth person suspected to be involved in the robbery incident.
On September 16, 2019, Holloway and Franklin were arrested and charged with two counts of common law robbery. Holloway received a $50,000 secured bond while Franklin received a $15,000 secured bond. Both were placed in the custody of the jail at the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. Those knowing the location of Carson are asked to call the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office.
