Dear Plumsted Residents,
The following is the September 19, 2019 update for road closures and detours occurring in the Downtown New Egypt area.
- Jacobstown Road will be closed between Province Line Road and Maple Avenue (Construction work will take place between Maple Avenue and Meadowbrook Lane). Only emergency and local traffic access will be permitted in this area. Driveway access will be maintain to all businesses along the detour route. Detours are set up to get around the closed section of Jacobstown Road utilizing Province Line Road, Monmouth Road, Evergreen Road and Main Street. A map of this detour is provided. This detour will be in effect from Monday, September 23, 2019 through October 11, 2019.
- Oakford Avenue will be closed between Lakeview Drive to the end of Oakford Avenue. Only emergency and local traffic access will be permitted in this area. This closure will be in effect from Friday, September 20, 2019 through October 4, 2019.
