On September 20th during morning hours, patrol deputies responded to a call of a residential burglary in progress on Newbury Way in the city of Diamond Bar. An alert citizen called the Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff’s Station to report suspicious activity.

Responding deputies were directed to a suspicious vehicle and detained two adult females. During an investigation, deputies learned that a home was broken into and three male adult suspect fled on foot. During a search of the area, the three males suspects were found within the perimeter and taken into custody. All five of the suspects are from the Los Angeles area and were booked for Residential Burglary.

Members of the community are reminded that if they “SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING.” Together, law enforcement and the community can fight crime.
