Due to excessive temperatures, the City is making the Community Center available as an air-conditioned space for those seeking relief today and tomorrow from 11am-8pm at 320 N. McDowell BLVD. 
 
There continues to be an increased fire risk in northern California for the next few days - PG&E may cut power to areas of northeast Santa Rosa and the Sonoma Valley tonight.  If this does occur, Petaluma is not expected to be impacted by the power shutoff.   For more information in English and Spanish go to:  https://socoemergency.org/power-shutoff-watch-announced-for-sonoma-county/
