Due to excessive temperatures, the City is making the Community Center available as an air-conditioned space for those seeking relief today and tomorrow from 11am-8pm at 320 N. McDowell BLVD.
There continues to be an increased fire risk in northern California for the next few days - PG&E may cut power to areas of northeast Santa Rosa and the Sonoma Valley tonight. If this does occur, Petaluma is not expected to be impacted by the power shutoff.
