ROCK FOR RECOVERY EVENT
The public is cordially invited to attend the 4th Annual Rock for Recovery Event to be held at the Rock County Fairgrounds on October 9th, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Craig Center located at 1301 Craig Avenue, Janesville, WI. Rock for Recovery is a collaborative event intended to showcase local resources focused on prevention, treatment and recovery support for those dealing with addiction. This event is organized by the Rock County Rx Drug Abuse and Heroin Task Force, Janesville Mobilizing 4 Change, and the Rock County Drug Court Treatment Program with funding and support from Rock County Human Services.
The Rock for Recovery event will begin with an awareness walk at 6:00 PM followed by a resource fair to include local guest speakers at 6:30 PM. A candlelight vigil will be held at 7:45 PM in remembrance of lives lost to the disease of addiction. Light refreshments will be served.
